Thank you for all the sweet words on our love story. It was a really emotional experience for me, searching through memories and old journals to get the details just right. Thank you for sharing it with me.

I love Christmas. I can hear the church bells playing Oh Come All Ye Faithful right now (Another great thing about living in the country? Church bells.)
I love giving gifts. I love letting other people give me gifts, especially when those gifts are the riding boots I've been eyeing (<-not so subtle hint, dad).

Thursday This: September 3rd, 2009

1) This set of nameplate flowers was made using pinecones. I live in North Georgia. I have many, many pinecones at my disposal. I am going to attempt come up with a reason to have a party so that I can make them.

2) I am adding this photographer's floor lamp to my Christmas list. In September. Because it is fantastic.

3) Jessica turned me on to this website. I've been cashing in my swagbucks for Amazon.com gift cards and I am going to try and do at least half of my Christmas shopping this year using them.

4) Perusing this website and getting tons of great budgeting/saving ideas. We've always been frugal but I'm taking this HOUSEwife versus apartment wife thing really seriously y'all.

5) I love Danielle Thompson's work and this set of bookplates is super cute.

6) I want this set of magnets. I don't need any magnets. But look at them. They are beautiful. They want to be on my fridge.

Thursday This on a rainy Friday morning

1) Today I have a scrapbook layout featured in this article about using vintage items on your scrapbook pages.

2) I am listening to this song by Nickel Creek. I love how down-home country and catchy it is on a friday.

3) Getting myself psyched up about renovating our new home by reading this girl's lovely D.I.Y. renovation blog

4) Enjoying the transition to autumn. I love fall in the South. Thinking about trying my hand at this pumpkin chandelier for our new porch.

5) Daydreaming about our budget allowing me to buy this dress. Also, in my daydream, it looks really cute on me and I am 2 feet taller and able to pull it off.
