Psalm 113:9 "He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the Lord!"
Yesterday we saw our baby and heard it's heartbeat. I think it was only the second time in my life I've wept with such pure, overwhelming, indescribable joy.
Thanks so much for your sweet comments and emails while I've been away - I'm sorry I'm so behind on answering them, between some early issues (which are all fine now!) and more illness than I ever knew was possible I've just been completely out of commission.
I know this is early for me to be sharing and that there is always the possibility that something could go wrong. Honestly, I would share here either way. The truth is I want to fully embrace the blessing that is this baby with faith, hope, love and unabashed joy for as long as I am able, hopefully until we meet the wee little one in February.
